If you happen to be the last person on the planet that hasn't been sucked in....run!

This series of novels is dangerous. Once a person begins, they cannot put the books down. It is a maddening illness. I put it off until most recently when I decided I may as well read these books. I read all four in an extended weekend! I couldnt stop. I then went to see the movie and loved it as well! My husband thinks Im weird and cant believe I like vampires! So you have been warned! Have these books sucked you in?

capcha phrases..seriously

Hilarious! These are some of the capcha codes I have come across lately and my interpretation of them! TOO FREAKIN FUNNNNEEEE

Coate: Because coat didnt look fancy enough

weetr: weezer with a speech impediment

Moodyho: no explanation needed

offla: two meanings 1: "thats just offla" (awful, I live in the south) or 2: "wait till I get offla couch"

insessn: "man that judge said this court was insessn" (bad I know)

redria: who wants sangria when you can have redria?

ejusseak: new childhood game, "I'll hide an ejusseak" (you just seek) a stretch I must admit but its all in the pronunciation

hangsti: what all the gangsta's do when they're not shootin up somewhere. "hey man you wanna hangsti tonight?"

So have you run across any of these codes and thought do what? What are some funny ones you have seen or do you seldom pay attention to them? Bet you will now!

Happy Belated Birthday Anna~!

I have been super busy and havent had a second to blog about Anna's 3rd birthday! She had two wonderful parties. One at home with Grams, Grandaddy, and Kinley before Kinley went home. She loved her gifts that Kinley picked out for her and we had a grand old tea party! Her next party was at McDonalds with family and friends. We had Lacey, Lukas, and Hannah. Also in attendance were moms, Aunt Ree Ree and Nonneeeee. She is so lucky to have good friends!

Unfair Unfair Unfair

Life lessons...it is unfair. This is one lesson every Mother does not want to teach her children. It is a lesson in our house that unfortunately must be taught. You see, McKinley doesnt get to visit too often. The span between visits is often a year or more. We were very fortunate to have her for Christmas. Explaining to a four year old precocious boy that his sister is leaving for a long time was so difficult. He just didnt understand why she had to go. It is truly unfair that we miss out on so much of her life. McKinley often would tell us on her visit how sad her family was that she wasnt there. I finally lost it one night and said so what? They miss you for three weeks and then you go home and see you every single day. You leave there and they have a date when you return. I told her when you leave here, we dont get a return date. We dont know whether it will be 6 months, a year, or like this time, a year and a half. So the cruel lesson of life and fairness must be taught. We all stood around and hugged and cried at the airport while the onlookers teared up themselves. One lady looked at me, smiled with kind eyes and then her tears poured silently down her cheeks as Kinley squeezed her little siblings till they wrenched from her grip to stare at the planes. Kevin stood strong as he held his little girl until it was time for the dreaded door to close. We watched silently as the plane taxied away. When we got in the car is when Hunter began to cry. He realized then that his sister and roomate would not be coming home with us. His heart truly broken. Life is not fair.

Happy New Year!

It's 2009! WOW, never thought it would get here so quickly! I never make resolutions because they always get broken. Some goals I have though are:
1. Get better at journaling, not just blogging but actually writing my life down with pen and paper
2. Lose Weight....of course
3.Stop and have more fun..loosen up
4. get better at letter writing......its a cool thing thats dying out!
Well here is our trip to the beach for New Years Day
